Week 1 MBA 6101- INTRO

So this is an unconventional way to start a class, especially for an uncreative individual as myself. Never once did I think, that creating a blog/ running ads/ working with AI/ etc would be required to get an MBA. But I guess this is where I learn to practice and perfect a skill to hopefully discover a new passion in life. My name is JJ and I've been practicing as Respiratory Care Practitioner for the past 5 years. I've always taken leaps of faith in different avenues in life, and this profession is nonetheless. I chose it out of thin air, and I just happened to fall in love with this choice. I am good at it, but I feel stagnant despite the daily traumas, gunshot wounds, stab victims, end of life humans, burn patients, infants with breathing problems, and even the individuals with foreign objects stuck in unexplainable orifices.

I live in gorgeous California with my 5 year old "puppy", yes he's still puppy. So far I work/ school/ train during time off and travel outside the country every 3-4 months. The traveling part is my reset button, to return back with a sane mind and brain. I have noticed a significant change in my mood, emotional and mental state as well as performance level with taking purposeful and thoughtful breaks from my life.

This blog will be primarily used for consultation purposes for individuals who wish to achieve a profession within healthcare (especially Respiratory Therapy) including the pros and cons, admission into RT school, interview skills and techniques, sustainability during pandemics, etc.

Fun fact: I always end up providing medical assistance to passengers on my flights, so far they've all come with perks such as travel credits/ upgrades/ etc.
